It has been a while since I last gave an update on where we are.

As we enter the final discussions over our name and, without the resources of some of our competitors, we have decided to focus on building the next version of our website and choosing a new name that does not upset anyone.

We are not going anywhere and while we knew it was never going to be easy competing in online livestock/ machinery sales, we honestly did not expect the level of support we have had from so many people in the industry, so thank you.

No matter where we land with our name and new site, we will still have no ads, no news, just sales.

Watch this space….it will happen quicker than you think (and as always if you have any questions feel free to give me a shout)

On The Box is excited to offer another alternative to buying and selling livestock online with the inclusion of Paddock Sales. Livestock are inspected and assessed on the vendor’s property by an approved selling agent without the need to be assessed in the yards. This is a sale type which operates under distinct weight tolerances specific to that sale type.

As a registered buyer who would like to bid or purchase a paddock sale lot:

  • Carefully read over the assessment of the Paddock Sale listing. Ensure that the terms of sale pertaining to the specific lot have been read and understood.
  • As a registered bidder with On The Box, it is mandatory to contact the Selling Agent of the listing prior to placing a bid. This is to ensure the terms of sale are understood and that both parties agree on the assessed weight estimation or nominating a place for cattle to be weighed (post purchase).
  • Place a bid or buy now on the listing and agree to the terms of sale.
