When we first started thinking about On The Box we spent a lot of time talking to vendors, agents and buyers about what is a fair price.
If you have looked at our listing fees before and wondered how we can afford to be so much cheaper than the rest, I'll tell you... as a new business we do not have the overheads of other competitors which allows us to charge less.
Here is an example of our prices for our machinery sales (updated September 2024).
But this does not mean that you are getting less value, in fact you will be getting a whole heap more.
Not only have we created a website that has already attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers and thousands of registered buyers, but we invest heavily in making our website easy to use and advertising your listings to get industry leading views per lot / great clearance rates.
All that and we have made it as simple and easy as possible for agents to get their vendor lots listed.
Finally, if we ever decide to raise our prices, we will talk with vendors, agents, and buyers to gather their views on what they consider fair, rather than simply announcing a price increase for you to discover the next time you list stock.
