An opportunity to purchase a 4-deck line of 152 braungus cross steers. These steers offer good compensatory gains, presenting in store to forward condition & will bound ahaed on good nutrution. The steers were bred on the coast before being brought to the downs after weaning. They show good weight & growth for age with the frame to grow into good feeder steers or take out to bullocks on grass or grain. At assessment they weighed from 192kg to 347kg & averaged 255kg after 2 hours off feed. There were 32 red, 11 grey or cream with the balance being black in colour. It was noted that 10 had minor fly bite scaring & 2 had ringworm scaring. Please note these cattle are from a prickly acacia free property.

A nice line of Fresian Brangus cross heifers that have been weaned & hand fed. These heifers come from a top Fresian cow herd are by quality Brangus bulls & are up to date with their vaccines & drenches. All the hard work has been done. 33 Purebred Wagyu cows that have been vet preg tested in calf to fullblood wagyu bulls, these bulls come from wagyu studs such as Sumo, Tumbledown and Bar H, see link to bull information below. The cows were vet preg tested to range from 6 weeks to 6 months in calf and were all weighed to range from 312kg to 516kg to average 420kg, after an 18 hour dry curfew. Cows range from 4-13yrs with approx 40% 4-8 yrs and approx 60% 9-13 yrs. These cows come from a herd that’s been supplying feeder cattle to Kerwee feedlot for a long period and are only for offer due to falling outside the preferred calving window. This represents the complete drop of predominantly black coated steers in mob, another line, same breeding, red/cream coated same sale.
