33 Purebred Wagyu cows that have been vet preg tested in calf to fullblood wagyu bulls, these bulls come from wagyu studs such as Sumo, Tumbledown and Bar H, see link to bull information below.
The cows were vet preg tested to range from 6 weeks to 6 months in calf and were all weighed to range from 312kg to 516kg to average 420kg, after an 18 hour dry curfew. Cows range from 4-13yrs with approx 40% 4-8 yrs and approx 60% 9-13 yrs.
These cows come from a herd that’s been supplying feeder cattle to Kerwee feedlot for a long period and are only for offer due to falling outside the preferred calving window. They present in forward store condition and handled very well through the yards, please note there was approx 7 with fly bite scarring. Cows are located 10km out of Longreach.
